VRF runs a number of indoor units from one outdoor unit and varies the refrigerant flow to match what each area actually needs, so a quiet meeting room and a full restaurant floor can run off the same system without fighting each other.

Yes. Most of what we service was put in by somebody else. We will tell you honestly if a system is at the end of its life rather than keep charging you to patch it.
On a premises where whole areas sit empty for part of the day, yes, because you stop paying to condition space nobody is in. Where everything is occupied at once it saves less. We will say which of those your site is before you spend money on it.
Dripping usually means a blocked drain, and the water has to go somewhere, so it is worth a call before it finds a ceiling. New noise generally means something mechanical has started to wear, and it is cheaper attended to early than after it seizes.
